Planet Rock Special - 'The Book of Genesis'

This programme was broadcast on Planet Rock, Sunday night and is part of their special series of programmes throughout June. Liz Barnes talks to Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks about how the band started and it's history, together with explanations about their favourite tracks, which are then played. The majority of the content/music is unfortunately post Gabriel, but it's still interesting to hear the guys talking.

I have recorded the show and if anyone is interested, I can upload it as an mp3 file to the Forums Xdrive, like the Pink Floyd Story. I won't do this if there is no interest, but if anyone wants it, just post a reply and I can do it later this week?

I listened to Planet Rock on sunday evening (i think it was) The show was called Genesis the Phil Collins years. Sorry but when you hear the material lumped together like that it makes you realise just how lamentable the stuff was . Plink plonk music with a monosyllabic vocal content.
            Hard to listen to I'm afraid.

Yeah I heard that one too - it was a terrible show, this is not the same one. It would have been better with more Gabriel, but I guess this is all we get?

Funnily enough I listened to Planet Rock the other night when walking through the back room (my son had it on the pc).They mentioned it was Genesis month then played Comfy Numb....they must have got bored with Genesis already! ;D

I'll tell you what i've also noticed ?
              Free tickets for Genesis gigs are being given away all over the place.
