TOPIC: Greatest American Pop/Rock Band

Greatest American Pop/Rock Band 4 years, 11 months ago #1

to qualify, 100% of band members must be US citizens (had the identify of an "American" or were considered such during the height of the band, meaning before their death) and there must be at least two members of the band... sorry no Elvis, no Dylan, no Madonna.  Contenders must be a "band".  Consider greater musical influence and popularity/commercial success if you so desire.

Metallica and Other for me
Other for the main reason that I don't really rate the other bands, or don't know enough of their stuff.
Will you allow me Tool as the other band? (current bassist is from UK)
