The coverage of this year's Reading festival has been excellent.

IYou can watch it on BBC3 or  on webcast via this link
www.bbc.co.uk/readingandleeds/

Last night saw great sets from The Enemy, Kings of Leon, Maximo Park, The Subways and Reverend and The Makers. The Enemy were extroadinary ... three young lads who drove to the festival in their Ford Fiesta. They completely packed the 'tent' out and the fans were going wild  See if you can catch their performance online - the videos of today's performances should go up on the link tomorrow.

I've just watch Bloc Party who were superb and the Pidgeon Detectives are on now.  Later tonight the Red Hot Chilli Peppers will headline and tomorrow The Klaxons and Smashing Pumpkins will perform

I can't decide whether it would be more fun watching it from the main stage mosh pit or sitting in front of a plasma screen drinking chilled Pino Grigio

The coverage has been excellent!

I think at my age, I would go for the Pino Grigio!

I read a few books whilst on holiday.

I've not seen a great deal, but caught the last 20 mins of the chilis last night.
It seems that the same bands are playing all the festivals this year.

Much to my own personal annoyance I  tried to stay up last night and watch the best of Reading coverage but fell asleep in front of the TV.
Too much time in our garden drinking chilled Rose'. Damn it.
