Saw the Dublin concert of the Police reunion tour on Sat night. They played a belter and I hope to have the same energy as those 3 when I'm their age. Its great to see Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers being a nice balance to Sting (who can often let his ego get the better of him IMO).
The only thing was that due to their starting late the Croke Park authorities shone the full stadium lights on before the final 3 songs. This blocked the Stage Light effects and was presumably Croke Park telling the audience to Sod off home (for the local residents benefit). A bit annoying considering Stand tickets were 126 Euros
It's possible the reason for the band's late start was that the trains coming in from Dublin's Southside had to stop for hours due to some moron who drove into a low bridge on the route. This meant I had to get out half way and get on buses with a swarm of other Concert go-ers. This happens more often than you'd think and one has to question the brain cells of these cretins. Grrrrrrrrr
