I am off to see this other guitar legend tonight. We are getting there slightly early so was wondering if you knew of any good pubs right nearby ?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

If you look back at our Forum get together arrangement for the Aussies at the RAH you will see that we went to two pubs.
  I personally thought  that The Prince Regent on Gloucester Rd was the better of the two. Its about a ten minute walk from the Hall.

I second that Steve, The Queens is OK, but on a concert night it's just mobbed, you can't get a beer and you can't hear yourself think, let alone anyone talking!!! The food is a little pricey, but good quality.
