tributehub is a social networking site for fans of tribute bands around the world. Its features include:
- Gig Engine
- Band and user profiles
- Forum
- Personal messaging
Guest access
As a guest, you can browse the forum and gig lists, but you can't access profiles or mark gigs as attending. Once registered you'll be able to find gigs for the acts you like, mark those you are going to and interact with other fans who are seeing the same shows. Registered members can also visit band and fan profiles, post on the forum, exchange views and use the private messaging system.
Creating an account
Click Register on the left under the login boxes to register for a tributehub account and follow the on screen instructions. Unless you are registering as a band, leave the registration type as Registered Member.
The Gig engine
Bands can post their gig listings directly onto tributehub. As a fan you can browse for shows, filtering them by country, genre and tribute to (only available after you have filtered by genre).
While browsing gigs, click the "attending" check box for those shows you intend to go to. You can also click on "Fans Attending" to see who else has already marked a show, and hook up with them via their profiles.
Click "Gigs Attending" on the main menu for a list of gigs you have already checked. You can uncheck gigs from this list too.
Tip: If you just want to see listings for a particular band, click "Current Gigs" on their profile page.
